In DC the law firms are a few blocks away from the White House. After my meetings I changed in my sneaks and, suitcase in tow, took a swing by the WH. 
Tourists, heat, and humidty all out in force. Then took the Blue Line to DCA. Brilliant. About $2.45 and 20 minutes. 

It’s windy like September in the Vermont mountains today. The wind swooshes in the tree tops.

You don’t see these commonly in the wild here. This was along the Stevens Creek Trail.
