It’s been a few months since our local market had pamplemousse LaCroix. 

Just finished Born to Run. This book is written in that same gritty, passionate voice that we hear in Bruce’s songs. Bruce has always spoken to me, also an Irish-Italian kid. While I did not grow up there, I graduated from high school in New Jersey. It always seemed to me that about New Jersey you could only feel, “It’s a town full of losers. I’m pulling out of here to win.”

We learn how tenacious, studious, and visionary this blue-collar kid was to hone his craft and make it to the top. He was in desperate finances much of his early years and even many years after he was famous. 

Bruce is suprprisingly candid about many things, including his serious propensity for depression. Bruce has seen many people people, including Clarence Clemons, pass away. He has worked hard to be a good farther. His family is close and his three adult children are doing well. He credits Patti for keeping him grounded. It’s a profound story  

Bruce himself is still rockin’, still loving  it. And you get the sense he’s living every day like it’s a glory day.

so I did this 30 minute yoga practice with Leigha Butler (found on YouTube). 

She is very experienced with a calm zen style, “love where you are today.”

I’ll do this practice again.
